Blossom K9 Training was created with a simple philosophy: dogs deserve to be understood, and owners deserve to have the tools and guidance to communicate clearly with them.
Our approach goes beyond teaching obedience. While foundational obedience is an important part of training, our focus is on understanding the why behind a dog’s behavior and creating meaningful, lasting change. We specialize in reactivity and behavioral challenges, helping dogs develop emotional regulation, confidence, neutrality, and the ability to make better decisions in real-world environments.
We believe effective training requires clarity, fairness, consistency, and accountability. Our methods are balanced and individualized, using the appropriate combination of reinforcement, structure, boundaries, and consequences based on the dog in front of us. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Every dog has a different temperament, history, environment, and set of needs—and their training should reflect that.
Our goal isn't simply to create a dog that performs commands. We want to help you build a relationship where your dog understands what is expected, feels confident navigating the world, and can successfully function alongside you in everyday life.

My journey with dogs began when I was just 16 years old, and what started as a passion quickly became my life’s work. For the past 11 years, I have dedicated myself to learning, training, and working alongside dogs, continually expanding my education and experience so I can better understand the animals I have the privilege of working with.
I have always believed that becoming a great trainer means never believing you know everything. The dog training industry is constantly evolving, and I pride myself on continuing my education, challenging my own understanding, and seeking out opportunities to learn from dogs themselves. Every dog I work with has something to teach me, and every case continues to shape the trainer I strive to become.
At Blossom K9 Training, I want to be part of creating positive change within our community. I believe dogs should be approached with both knowledge and compassion, and that training should come from a place of genuine love and passion for the animal—not simply a desire for obedience.
My goal is to help owners better understand their dogs, advocate for their individual needs, and build relationships rooted in clear communication, trust, and fairness. Whether I'm working with a puppy learning the foundations of life or a complex behavioral case, I approach every dog as an individual and every training relationship with the same dedication.

Meet My Amazing “Assistants” 🐾
I’m incredibly lucky to share my life — and my work — with some truly special dogs who help me every day in training sessions. Each one brings their own unique skills and personality to the team, making them invaluable partners in helping other dogs grow and learn.
Kenai – My 11-year-old Siberian Husky and the one who started it all. Now happily retired, Kenai has helped hundreds of dogs overcome reactivity with her calm, carefree spirit. Her easygoing nature set the perfect example for nervous or overexcited pups, showing them how to relax and enjoy the moment.
Sedona – My sweet Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a heart of gold. Sedona has a special talent for helping dogs with impulse control and prey drive. She’s gentle, social, and always ready for a good game of frisbee when the work is done.
Summit – The newest member of the team and full of potential! Summit my Labrador Retriever is learning the ropes and currently helps with puppy lessons and adult dog training as a fun, neutral distraction. She brings bright energy and curiosity to every session.
Rainier – My stunning Beauceron and the picture of neutrality. Rainier is calm, confident, and loves helping dogs practice composure in real-world settings. She’s an incredible example of a balanced, well-mannered large breed dog who can help assist in behavior modification cases and dogs who have reactivity.
Together, they make up my dream team — dogs who not only inspire me daily but also help guide others toward calmer, happier lives.

I welcome your dog into my home-based training facility, where we focus on creating a harmonious routine, building strong home manners, and providing a calm, stress-free environment filled with love.
Our space is cleaned and sanitized daily with an animal safe sanitization system to ensure a clean, comfortable experience for every pup. Your dog will have clean free access to fresh water and clean food bowls after every meal.
We keep the space cozy with A/C and heating, and your pup’s safety is a priority with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and 24/7 video monitoring. For rest and downtime, we use only Ruffland kennels and 5x5 steel pens—secure, comfortable, and built with your dog’s well-being in mind.
